We kicked off this month with the greatest commission of Jesus that “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age”. Matthew Ch 28v 18-19.
We went to South of Swaziland to an area called Lavumisa and this place is very dry, spiritual warfare just to name the few. It was such a great experience for the team. I preached the night we arrived because they were having a Youth Conference about “Understanding Seasons”. It was a great time of having home visits and working with the church.
I remember visiting some community people who were very sick and we had to encourage them through the Word of God and prayer. We worked around the church by clearing the ground through picking up the stones and rolling some of the boulders because they were too big to carry. It was just amazing for us to join our hands with the community members doing the work together. We bonded together as a team by spending this good time away from where we originally stay.

In this month I really learnt a lot by reading the book called “Heavenly Man” by Brother Yun. I learned that if we want to follow Christ, there is a lot of suffering. Most of the time we think that Christianity is manna, that it just comes so easily. But it is not. We have to suffer for our faith and carry our cross every day, like what this Brother Yun did. Regardless of the persecution he didn’t loss heart but he was growing stronger in the Lord each and every day. It is important to follow what God wants us to do and the bible says “If we are willing and obedient we shall eat the goodness of the land”. Isaiah Ch 1v19.

Jesus went ahead and said “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and let be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecute the prophets who were before us. The kingdom of God is not only about eating and drinking but it takes us dying to ourselves.
