Nathan Clendenin is a documentary photographer and filmmaker specializing in helping organizations and individuals tell the story of what God is doing through their ministries with the goal of inspiring donors and volunteers and giving God glory for his redemptive work and advancing Kingdom. Nathan holds a master’s in visual communication from UNC-Chapel Hill’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of the South.
Nathan spent a year serving with Africa Revolution’s Vision Year in 2008-2009 with his wife, Rebecca. Nathan, Rebecca and their two boys, Samuel and Henry, now live in Durham, NC. Nathan’s favorite book is the one he’s reading, though you’d be more likely find him listening to a podcast of Radio Lab or This American Life. Being continually connected to ministry and discipleship in Africa through Africa Revolution reminds him every day about what’s important in life (and what’s not) and spurs him to live out that type of ministry wherever his feet are standing.
